Our students are some of the few in the city to participate in a modular technology learning program developed by Paxton Patterson.
Students work in independent teams at workstations that explore a specific technology such as lasers or hydraulics. Their work is directed either by a written set of protocols or by a video or by a computer. A team completes a specific task such as building a rocket or making a video recording. Along the way toward completing their task the student teams are responsible for solving problems posed and writing their responses. By the time a student completes their program at Nightingale they will have cycled through fifteen different programs of study.

During the 2003-2004 school year we  upgraded the technology lab to be driven solely by interactive multimedia. The students will respond to questions and keep a diary using the Internet and the teacher will maintain records, track student progress and grade student  work electronically.
