Our Attendance and Tardies are not on the Report Cards.
Because we ran the report cards before the data was ready, that data was not correct on the report cards. However, the attendance information is complete and correct on the students permanent electronic records.
Comments are not on the Report Cards.
A maximum of five comments will be printed on the Report Cards. The comments are limited to the Homeroom Teacher only.

Our grading scale is not correct!
Our grading scale is correct. The scale you see on your screen is merely an example. Our grading scale is as follows:
A=93-100
B=85-92
C=77-84
D=70-76
F=69 and below
Also note: If you enter an "A", a student will actually receive a 97%.
A "B" will translate into a 89% etc.
There were calculation errors in my grade book. How do I get them fixed?

How do we enter SMC for Significantly Modified Curriculum?
There are no plans to allow teachers to indicate that the curriculum has been modified. This is a legal issue. There should be no indications on the students' report card that their curriculum has been modified.
How do teachers enter the Language Proficiency Year?
That function was not available during the first report card period. It should be ready all for future report cards.

How do kindergarten teachers enter grades and progress for skills sets?
Click on "grades"
Click on the "-" in the column labeled "avg".
Select "report card entries" from the dropdown menu entitled"view".
Enter information accordingly.
Click"update".
How do teachers enter Growth in Habits and Attitudes ?
The elementary report card contains a section labeled"Growth and Attitude." If a student needs improvement in any of the areas listed, place an "X" in the appropriate cycle next to that area. Any entry other than "X" is invalid, as the ares should remain blank if the student does not require improvement.
How can I tell if a parent has sent me an e-mail?
The teacher clicks on Student List, that is found at the bottom left-hand corner of the grade book. The teacher will be taken to another screen. On that screen look for a column with the word "Notes" along the right side. If a parent has left the teacher a note the word "Note" will be yellow. Click on the word, "Note" to read the e-mail.
How do I enter a Failure Notice in the Progress Reports?
Only the Homeroom Teachers can enter Failure Notice information.
To give a student a Failure Notice
-Open Grade Book
-Use the drop down select Homeroom
-Click the Average of the student who needs a Failure Notice.
(Click on the - symbol in the average column if you have not been giving grades.)
-Select IPR Entries.
( The screen will change.)
-Scroll to the bottom of the page. Look for Failure Notice.
(It is the last row.)
-Put an X in the grading period the student needs a Failure Notice.
-Click the Grades icon
-Click Update to save your work.
How do I use the override grade feature to enter grades?
How do I see my students cumulative grades?
Click on Cumulative Grades and this page will appear. Notice the last column contains the average of all the cycle grades.
How do I indicate that the student must attend summer school on the report card?
How do I indicate which grade and room the student will be in next year on the report card?

1. Log into Grade Book
2. Select Home Room from the drop down menu.Click on the Average of one of your students grades.
3. Use the drop down menu to select Report Card Entries.
4. Scroll more than half way down the page and look for, "Summer School Program Required".
5. Type an "X" in the C4 (Cycle 4) column.
Once you click the Verify Grades link you will be taken to another page that will have the Override Average option.Put grades in the Override Cycle Avg column and click Update to save your work. The Semester Avg column is for High Schools only!
