Services
at Nightingale
"Currently there are six teachers at Nightingale School
who provide a continuum of Special Education
services for eligible students. Students receive specialized
instruction based upon their IEP's--Individual
Educational Programs.
Services are provided both in the
regular classrooms (Inclusion) and in separate classrooms
(Resource) for varying periods of time. A few students
receive services all day long (Self-contained). Students are
instructed in either English and/or Spanish. With these services
Special Ed students succeed and are able to participate with their
peers."

"Corrientemente
hay seis maestras en la Escuela Nightingale que proveen servicios de
Educación Especial a los alumnos quienes los necesitan
Los alumnos reciben instrucción especializada basada en sus
IEP’s – Programas Individuales Educativos.
Se
provee los servicios en los salones regulares(inclusión) igual que
en salones separados (recurso) por varios periodos de tiempo. Unos
pocos alumnos reciben servicios todo el día (salón contenido).
Los alumnos reciben instrucción en inglés o español.
Debido a estos servicios, los alumnos de Educación Especial
logran éxito y pueden participar junto con sus compañeros"
