1. Click "Categories" to access this page.
2. Type in the appropriate category name.
3. Type in the appropriate category weight.
4. Choose a color to highlight the category in the grade book.
5. Click "Update: to save your work.
Leave, "Method of weighting grades" as Percent.
Leave, "Total Points Logic" as No.
The weights and categories for Nightingale School have been determined as follows:

K-5: Assessments: 35%                        6-8: Assessments        35%
       Quizzes:           30%                             Quizzes                            25%
       Class Work:     30%                            Class Work                30%
       Homework:      5%                               Homework                10%


The exception is 8th Grade Writing:

Assessments: 50%
Quizzes         15%
Class Work      25%
Homework      10%

You MUST use the terms as stated above for consistency. It was discussed and agreed that the term "Assessments" be used instead of tests due to the wide range use the term allows.
